CHROMATOPHONIC TRIO

Light, shadow, color and sound – these elements connects together and create an integral concept of Chromatophonic Trio’s repertoire.
Founded in 2020, Chromatophonic Trio is the only piano trio in Poland which focuses on newest music including the search for new works and premieres.
The name Chromatophonic comes from fusion of two words: chroma (Greek) which means colour, and phonos – sound. As the name says, the repertoire of trio focuses on music, which bases in inspirations which connects sound with widely understood color and light.
The ensemble plays works not only written in XXI century, but also performs works from XX century and romantic/classical periods including Ravel, Chausson, Beethoven.
Members of Chromatophonic are renowned musicians professionally connected to Fryderyk Chopin University of Music as well as to renowned orchestras such as Warsaw Philharmonic:
